The ' Mount Pantocrator is the tallest mountain in Corfu with an altitude of up to 917m. There you will discover the small traditional villages , Old and New Peritheia Peritheia .
Proetoimastite to walk in paths between cypress trees with a mixture of Greek and Italian buildings . If you approach the start and end point of the mountain walk you notice the Italian influence in the architecture of this quiet mountain village . This wonderful ride takes you on a circuit of the high ridge of the Cross . We have reached a delightful church of a mountain trail .
Throughout the trip you will enjoy the fantastic view that offers you the altitude of the Almighty . Starts from road to cross. You will pass the house in Dafnata and then walk the main street which is lined with trees called Elias. Looking far down the valley of the Round , Lake Korrision mountainous villages Holy Mathaio and Vouniatades . Moving up we find before us a magnificent cave. Years ago this cave was used as a shelter. The geographical landscape is amazing. Shortly following, and after a short detour will find a magnificent church , built on rocks protruding from the hill .
At this point leave the trail behind us and continue to the famous street for locals with our mate again the fantastic view it offers us the Almighty . Here you have a dilemma , whether to continue the trip or you can take a short walk to the picturesque village and the chance to admire the old traditional Greek buildings . In any case awaits at the end of the route a cool drink and a good taverna with traditional food .
Equipment : You will need climbing boots any other shoes that suit walking. We can wear a shirt with long sleeves and a hat for the sun. Also , a backpack for the other things you want to carry with you . px Food and water (recommended at least 1lt water)
Food : You will not need large amounts of food as there are taverns . You should have with you some fruit and snacks of your choice .
Route: The route is mostly clear trails . but no shortage of moments where you need to go through rough paths . The view , however, you have to repay as " dish " all around Corfu .
Attitudes and breaks : You will have the opportunity to make many stops as there are many clearings and many suitable places to admire the view and take lots of photos
