      Wonderfully warm welcome

Ortholithi is one of the highlights of Agios Gordios. The welcome is always warm from Aspassia and the food is wonderfully cooked by Maria. It's a great place to sit and watch the wonderful sunsets.

    • Well worth the walk from the top of the village, we were welcomed by the family and seated in the comfortable restaurant area ready to enjoy our meal whilst the sun went down. We dined on kleftiko served in parcels decorated with a sprig of jasmine - it was very tasty. It was Greek Night :) the dancers and musicians were excellent! We clapped, tapped our feet and joined in with the singing! (And the dancing, after a glass or two of the very good wine!) We were thrilled to find that the new management have captured the magic which has brought us back to Agios Gordios so many times. Thanks for the fun! See you next time :)

      What a welcome!

Ortholithi was recommended to us so the thought we would give it a try.......we were so glad that we did! Not only did we accidentally turn up on the Greek evening, but we were welcomed like old friends! Aspassia and Maria make an excellent team, Aspassia as front of house and Maria the chef, a sublime combination! Recommendations for the food.....where to start.... The skordalia, wow!, the moussaka, amazing, the calamari , out of this world...you get the idea? I have so long to wait before my next holiday in Corfu...but I know where my first meal will be!

    • I have been visiting this location since 1994. Over the years I have seen many changes. I have witnessed births and deaths in the family, building extensions but one thing has not changed. That is the standard of service, nothing is too much trouble. The kitchen for it's size turns out some fantastic food thanks to chef Maria. If what you desire is not on the menu, just ask and they will buy in the ingredients for YOUR meal. A sign of the times is that their sun beds are now free of charge to their customers. I shall be returning in mid May, I hate to wish my life away but I am looking forward to seeing the family. It is not the largest location in the resort but for service, you will not get better.
